What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asset Protection Coordinator position at Best Buy?
As an Asset Protection Coordinator, you'll conduct audits in a distribution center to mitigate shrink, damage and security threats. You'll also work with other team members to support safety protocols. In this role, you'll support the efforts of Asset Protection leadership to keep Best Buy safe, secure and organized.

- Execute weekly, monthly and quarterly responsibilities including data entry, reporting and providing updates to leadership
- Support the Area Asset Protection Manager in communicating daily and weekly work goals and communicates front desk and gate house operations to security guards
- Conduct monthly building security inspections and address any identified problems
- Supports internal inventory and quality assurance teams where necessary
Basic qualifications
- Able to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time
Preferred qualifications
- 2 years of experience with security, auditing or inventory
- Forklift certification
- Computer skills including typing, ability to navigate multiple apps/systems, and prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite
