Position Summary 

We are seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to transport finished products from our co-packing production facility to our local warehouse. This role will also involve occasional pickups of necessary items for the plant, ensuring vehicle maintenance, and assisting warehouse personnel as needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and knowledgeable in DOT regulations and warehouse operations. 

Key Responsibilities 

Transportation & Logistics 

● Safely transport finished goods from the production facility to the local warehouse. 

● Pick up materials, supplies, and other necessary items for the plant as needed.

 ● Ensure timely and efficient delivery schedules in coordination with warehouse and production teams. 

● Take company trucks to service facilities for scheduled maintenance and repairs. 

● Conduct and document pre-shift start checks to ensure compliance with DOT regulations. 

Warehouse Assistance 

● Assist warehouse personnel with dunnage, loading, and unloading trucks. 

● Support the warehouse team in material movement when required. 

● Ensure compliance with GMP and 5S standards by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Safety & Compliance 

● Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety policies for truck operation and material handling. 

● Maintain accurate logs, inspection records, and necessary documentation for compliance. 

● Follow all company safety guidelines to ensure personal and team safety. 

Qualifications & Requirements 

● Valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record. 

● 2 years of professional truck driving experience preferred. 

● Experience in warehouse operations, including loading/unloading trucks, is a plus. 

● Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements. 

● Ability to work independently while supporting warehouse and production operations. 

● Strong communication and problem-solving skills. 

● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying temperature environments. 

● Availability for shift work, weekends, and overtime as needed.
