Duties
- Evaluate client applications to determine eligibility for bail bonds based on financial and legal criteria.
- Secure collateral and ensure all bond agreements comply with applicable laws and industry standards such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and other financial regulations.
- Facilitate the posting of bonds by coordinating with courts, law enforcement agencies, and clients to ensure timely processing.
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including contracts, client communications, and bond documentation using financial software and Excel data analysis tools.
- Conduct risk assessments related to lending, commercial lending analysis in risk and credit, and ensure adherence to banking regulatory compliance.
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding bond terms, payment plans, and legal obligations to foster trust and transparency.
- Monitor bond status throughout the duration of the case, managing renewals or adjustments as needed while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of loan origination processes, mortgage services, and commercial banking expertise.
- Proficiency in financial services software, Microsoft Office suite including Excel for data analysis, and basic math skills such as 10 key typing.
- Experience in loan officer roles or financial sales that involve lending, loan processing, or mortgage services.
- Familiarity with FNMA (Fannie Mae), TILA regulations, and banking industry compliance standards.
- Excellent client communication skills paired with a professional demeanor to explain complex contractual terms clearly.
- Ability to analyze lending risks through commercial lending analysis experience in risk and credit assessment.
- Knowledge of banking regulatory compliance related to loans, bonds, and financial transactions.
