Best-Aire Compressor Service is looking for an Parts/Inventory Specialist in our Grand Rapids location.
Best-Aire is a leader in the distribution of industrial and mechanical equipment. From our 5 locations, Best-Aire is the expert in the sales and service of air compressors, air dryers, and blowers and we offer a full-service center to repair all brands of compressed air equipment. There are many opportunities for growth in our team environment.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Responsible for ordering parts and supplies as needed by service technicians and customers.
- Maintain onsite inventory, and inventory in fleet
- Open and close parts jobs and update customer information.
- Obtaining all customer information and keeping maintenance records current.
- Assist customer, service technicians and sales staff with locating required parts.
- Responsible for coordinating/tracking freight and ups shipments.
- Responsible for packaging parts/equipment for shipment.
- Check in stock orders.
- Answering telephone calls from customers and technicians.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have computer skills, be motivated with ability to interact and communicate effectively.
- Highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically able to move and lift 50 pound items.
- Forklift operator qualified
- Load and unload trucks.
- Proficient with excel and word.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks or similar system is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills are a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
