About the Role:
Bessent Enterprises LLC is looking for a skilled Chassis Mechanic to join their team in Savannah, GA! Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair chassis components including frames, suspensions, and steering systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine service on commercial vehicles and equipment
- Identify mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and visual inspections
- Repair or replace worn, damaged, or defective parts including axles, brakes, and driveline components
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service performed
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently
- Proven experience as a Chassis Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of chassis systems including suspension, steering, brakes, and drivelines
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
