Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Post and manage job ads across architecture/design platforms.
- Schedule interviews, screen candidates, and coordinate hiring events.
- Manage Summer internship program.
- Manage work visa processes and liaise with immigration attorneys.
- Maintain personnel files, I-9 compliance, and update policies.
Employee Relations & Culture
- Serve as a confidential resource for staff concerns.
- Plan and execute firmwide events
Performance Management
- Track development goals.
- Manage 3-month, annual, and leadership 360 reviews.
- Advise managers on feedback delivery and performance improvement strategies.
Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee payroll (bi-weekly salary, reimbursement, bonus cycles).
- Maintain salary benchmarks using AIA compensation guides.
Handle terminations, offboarding, and compliance with employment laws.
Skills & Experience:
- 7 years of HR experience (architecture/design industry a plus!).
- Ability to work in-office Monday–Thursday in NYC (remote Fridays).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven leadership in HR operations, performance management, and payroll systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive energy, approachable demeanor, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience managing annual reviews, open enrollment, and cultural initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary range: $80,000- $150,000
- PTO: 20 days, 7 sick days, and 9 holidays.
- Summer Fridays.
