Full-Time | Monday–Friday with rotational half-day Saturday
About Us
Beshears Tractor is a growing tractor and equipment dealership dedicated to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service. We are looking for a motivated Yard Technician to help keep our lot organized, safe, and professional while supporting customers and staff.
Job Responsibilities
Lot & Equipment Organization
- Receive and unload crated equipment from trucks.
- Uncrate, stage, and organize tractors, implements, and construction equipment.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and visually appealing front lot at all times.
- Rearrange equipment to improve spacing, visibility, and customer flow.
- Pick up trash, debris, and wood scraps from uncrating.
Equipment Operation
- Safely operate a forklift to move equipment and materials.
- Drive and position tractors and construction equipment around the lot.
- Assist with preparing equipment for display or customer pickup.
Customer Interaction
- Provide basic tutorials to customers on tractor or construction equipment operation.
- Communicate effectively with customers, sales staff, and service personnel.
- Assist customers with locating equipment on the lot when needed.
Qualifications
- Forklift operation experience.
- Knowledge of tractors and construction equipment required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Good verbal communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks regularly.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
