PROCESS ENGINEERING MANAGER - BACK-END OPERATIONS

Bescast is hiring a Process Engineering Manager to lead and strengthen critical back-end manufacturing operations. This role requires someone who can take ownership of complex processes, resolve issues quickly, and drive measurable improvements in quality, yield, and throughput.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement to advance casting quality and repeatability in yields.
• Perform other related duties as assigned with a high degree of flexibility.
• Perform hands on review of processes, materials, and product quality to prioritize daily tasks and responsibilities.
• Coordinate training of personnel for the development of technical and other skills.
• Interact with other Managers, Engineers, Customers, Suppliers, etc. as needed to resolve part issues and ensure organization objectives are met.
• Ensure procedure compliance through audits and testing. This includes internal and external (NADCAP and customer) audits.
• Foster continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing new concepts to reduce cost, increase throughput, and increase quality.
• Investigate problems or delays that may be causing inadequate performance and initiates action to correct the problems.
• Understand and support PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effective Analysis).
• Understand the potential effects of processes and yields thoroughly before implementing changes.
• Maintain discipline and adherence to plant rules and regulations while assuring compliance with all required safety regulations.
• Implement changes to training within assigned departments to increase consistency and part quality.
• Ensure router instructions, procedures, and work instructions are carried out as required.
• Provide technical support for the shelling, heat treat, and chemical processing departments.
• Maintain department focus on 6 Sigma. Maintain a neat and orderly work area and demand the same of department colleagues.
• Manage direct reports with clear expectations and accountability.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) that requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder').
