Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Recruiter to provide temporary full-time support to WMATA in the DC–Maryland–Virginia (DMV) region. This role requires onsite presence at WMATA-designated facilities and availability to travel within the DMV area. The Recruiter will manage full-cycle recruitment, collaborate closely with hiring managers, and ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult and advise hiring managers on the overall hiring process.
- Collaborate on job requisition details and creation.
- Advise on effective candidate assessment and interview techniques.
- Review job descriptions to ensure proper advertisement format for internet job postings and targeted niche websites.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating offer processes.
- Ensure timely hiring decisions and maintain a positive experience for all candidates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
- Mid-Level professional with 6 years of corporate recruiting experience.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work onsite and travel throughout the DMV area as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $33.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
