Join Our Team as a Personal Care Assistant Are you a kind and friendly individual looking to make a meaningful difference in someone's life? We're seeking a compassionate personal care assistant to support a vibrant 24-year-old young lady with a disability. As a personal care assistant, you'll assist with various activities of daily living, including toileting, showering, grooming, and dressing. Your role will also involve accompanying her to various outings, like swimming at the local YMCA, nail salon visits, class at a local college, shopping and attending church to mention a few. With a handicap-accessible van at your disposal, you'll have the opportunity to explore diverse activities outside the home, fostering her independence and enjoyment of life. Additionally, you'll help create a more accessible and comfortable living environment by arranging her room to suit her needs.This part-time position offers approximately 15 hours per week, working with a happy and upbeat young woman in a friendly, relaxed home environment.
