Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of this position include the programming and maintaining of a Tableau based Data Analysis Environment for calibration related function development. The focus is to program an existing tool within a new software environment to allow generic, and company-wide usage including maintenance programs. This requires interaction not only with other SW Tool development engineers, but also exchange with technical experts to ensure the newly created SW Tool will deliver the output as needed by the engineering teams.
Key Tasks:• Develop, program, and maintain software tool solution for a more effective vehicle testing and development analysis, and reporting.• Develop, program, and maintain software individual R/D-testing data analysis reports for powertrain development teams.• Evaluate faults and lead problem-solving activities, including 1st level analysis and collaboration with technical experts in MB AG• Supporting internal Key Process Indicators for OEMNP to monitor the current status and help forecast necessary future.• Active participation in continuous process improvements for internal and external processes.
Qualifications
Education:
Minimum level of education required and required field of study:• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Engineering or Computer Science
Preferred Qualifications:• Experience in engineering R&D, and software development field of minimum 3 years, preferably in automotive industry.• Master's degree with emphasis in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Top Must Have's:• Multiple coding languages, Data base knowledge, Data structures and algorithms, Testing procedures, Debugging knowledge, Operating systems, Text editing software• Very good comprehension of complex and complicated project and vehicle-specific issues.
• Excellent technical communication in general – oral, meetings, emails, phone calls.• Ability to think out-of-the-box and high willpower to push the team forward through optimizing solution approaches.• Powertrain engineers with an automotive environment with very keen knowledge in programming with data analysis and visualization reports

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
