Job Summary:
Bertrand Chaffee Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ambulatory Surgery team in Springville, NY. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care in our Operating Room, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Ambulatory Care Unit, and Endoscopy Suite. Responsibilities:
Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans
Collect patient data, complete patient history, and communicate with the healthcare team
Complete written care plans for assigned patients and direct others in planning patient care
Identify potential problems, formulate desired outcomes, and incorporate post-operative care into expected outcomes
Provide direct supervision over LPN, Scheduling Secretary, and Sterilization Tech
Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and hold self and staff accountable for nursing practice
Requirements:
Current RN license in the State of New York
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred, Associate's Degree in Nursing accepted
Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum one year of experience in a surgical setting
Competitive hourly rate: $45.09- $53.39 based on experience.
