Responsibilities:
- Review and code outpatient and physician medical records in accordance with industry-standard coding guidelines and regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other coding staff to resolve coding discrepancies and improve coding accuracy
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize coding efficiency and accuracy
- Minimum 6 months of experience
- Associate degree in Health Information Management required. Bachelor's degree preferred
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC or CPC-A) is required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
