Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home, a community-governed non-profit facility dedicated to providing essential and complete care for our residents, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality resident care, providing support to our nursing staff, and contributing to the overall success of our residents and organization.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients, under the supervision of a licensed nurse
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as using the bathroom, walking, and transferring to and from beds
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including ensuring proper hygiene and infection control practices
• Assist with patient transfers and ambulation, using patient lifts and other equipment as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Current NYS Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment
• Previous experience using strong communication and interpersonal skills in a work setting
  
  
  

Compensation:

$16.33 - 24.04 per hour, with an $.80 shift diff, based on experience.
