Job Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator responsibilities include supporting the team in elevating the Bertram brand through strategic campaigns, partner collaboration, and event execution. This position entails coordinating event logistics, trade show participation, content production, and meticulous documentation. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong multitasking abilities, effective communication with internal and external partners, and have a strong drive to lead our marketing efforts to achieve our goals.
Essential Functions:
- Respond to and direct all marketing channel inquiries, including those coming via phone, to the appropriate department timely
- Ensure all marketing materials, including digital and printed collateral, are regularly updated with the latest product information, photography, and brand messaging
- Collect, organize marketing receipts monthly, maintain up-to-date records of marketing expenditures and ensure all expenses are documented and accounted for
- Track spending against marketing budget and ensure data remains updated
- Support Sales and Marketing by carrying out administrative tasks as directed
- Book and plan travel for team members
- Assist in event planning logistics for the boat show and other events. Coordinate on-site, ensuring smooth execution and addressing issues as they arise
- Participate in content shoots to ensure the full shot list is captured
- Working alongside the Director of Marketing, assist the creative team in achieving desired outcomes and maintaining brand consistency
- Keep detailed records of boat show and event expenses, update the budget with actual spend, and support financial reporting with the accounting department
- Actively participate in and schedule status calls with dealers, agencies, and freelancers to ensure project tasks are completed, act as a liaison between Bertram and external partners
- Ensure timely distribution of marketing assets to dealers, making the newest materials, including product information, photography, videography, and other marketing assets, are shared with our dealers timely
- Monitor contracts to ensure terms are followed, creative deadlines are met, and all deliverables are completed on time.
- Verify deliverables are received as projects progress while maintaining close oversight of project milestones and outcomes
- Manage the filing of receipts and invoices from service providers, accurately log expenditures in the marketing budget, and ensure financial documents are shared with accounting on time
- Support occasional customer visits to the facility, ensuring a memorable and positive experience
- Oversee Bertram’s online store customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure the store is well-stocked and products are available for customers.
- Overnight travel approximately 10%
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred; experience in lieu of degree will be considered
- Minimum 2 years related experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management, and organizational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Keen interest in marketing and sales with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Proficient in Microsoft office and social media platforms
- Proficient in travel booking websites (hotels, airlines, car rentals)
- Ability to travel with over night stays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
