Duties

• Greet guests warmly, provide menu recommendations, and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process sales through POS systems, and manage billing with attention to detail.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and bussing.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address guest needs promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment while adhering to sanitation protocols and food safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining environments or the food industry at large.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Experience with cocktail preparation, wine knowledge, spirits handling, and food presentation enhances your candidacy.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to upsell effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for cashiering and sales transaction processing are essential.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
