About Us
Bertolino Foods is a family-owned food manufacturing and redistribution company based in Peabody, MA. We're looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Associate to join our warehouse team and help keep our inventory accurate, organized, and moving smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Perform daily cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory records
- Research and help resolve inventory discrepancies
- Maintain product identification, location, and lot code accuracy
- Support FIFO rotation and organization across all storage locations
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, stand-up jack, forklift, scissor lift, etc.)
- Assist with monthly physical inventory counts
- Follow food safety practices (SQF, HACCP, GMP) and workplace safety regulations
- Work as part of a team to keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized
What We're Looking For
- Prior warehouse, inventory, or cycle count experience preferred
- Strong counting and math skills, with great attention to detail
- Comfortable using basic computer/inventory software (Microsoft Office a plus)
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working in cold storage/freezer environments
- Experience with scissor lifts/high lifts a plus — no fear of heights
- Available for occasional overtime and weekend shifts
Schedule
Two schedules are available:
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, with flexibility to work overtime if needed. Must have availability to train 8 AM - 4:30 PM for the first month.
- Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, Sundays, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with flexibility to work overtime if needed. Must have availability to train 8 AM–4:30 PM for the first month.
