Position Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused, detail-oriented professional to join our parts department team. In this role, you will help support both retail and internal customers by identifying, sourcing, and providing automotive parts in a fast-paced dealership environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong organizational skills, and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely service.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail, wholesale, and internal customers with parts inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
• Identify and locate automotive parts using catalogs, systems, and product knowledge.
• Process parts orders, invoices, returns, and exchanges accurately.
• Maintain effective communication with service advisors, technicians, and other team members.
• Receive, stock, and organize incoming parts shipments.
• Monitor inventory levels and support cycle counts and stock checks as needed.
• Ensure parts are properly labeled, stored, and handled according to dealership procedures.
• Provide prompt follow-up on special orders and customer requests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts counter area.
• Support overall departmental goals and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an automotive parts, retail, or customer service role is preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories is helpful.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory or point-of-sale systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and stock parts as required.
