**Job Title: Automotive Service Technician**

**Location:** Bertera Nissan Auburn, MA.

**Job Type:** Full-Time/Part-Time Flexible Schedules. 

**Salary:** $25 - $75 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

**Job Summary:**
As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles. You will work closely with other technicians and service advisors to ensure that each customer's needs are met efficiently and professionally. Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation for excellence in the automotive service industry.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including but not limited to, engine repairs, brake systems, electrical systems, and suspension work.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and identify vehicle issues accurately.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of all services performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to explain repair needs and provide quotes.
- Stay current with industry standards, tools, and technology related to automotive service and repair.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while working in the shop.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification preferred.
- Proven experience as an automotive service technician, with a solid understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
