Job Description: Service Manager - $120K plus

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Service Manager to oversee our service department and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, deep technical knowledge, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage a team of service technicians and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize service department operations and improve efficiency.
3. Establish and maintain service standards to meet or exceed customer expectations.
4. Manage and prioritize service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
5. Proactively identify potential issues and find innovative solutions to ensure smooth service delivery.
6. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
7. Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed by the service team.
8. Oversee the scheduling of service appointments, dispatching technicians, and managing resources to maximize productivity.
9. Monitor the performance of service technicians, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
10. Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and provide ongoing development opportunities to team members.
11. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and their concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately.
12. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely availability of required spare parts and materials for service operations.
13. Prepare and analyze service-related reports, including key performance indicators, to evaluate departmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
14. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in service management.

Requirements:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a service management role, preferably in a related industry.
2. Strong technical background and understanding of service processes.
3. Excellent leadership and people management skills.
4. Outstanding problem-solving abilities and ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
5. Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining positive relationships.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Proficiency in using service management software and Microsoft Office suite.
