What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCA help needed for Young Female Adult position at Berryman Household?
We are in need of some amazing PCAs to help with a 20 year old young woman with Cerebral Palsy. You MUST be able to lift, carry and transfer her on your own. This endeavor will entail changing her pull ups, feeding, bathing and just overall have a good time with her! She lives in New Bedford so you must have reliable transportation.
We are currently looking for someone to get her up and on the bus on weekdays (6am-7am) and to work Sunday afternoon from 1pm-8:15pm occupying her time and putting her to bed. Someone with flexibility to help fill in when needed is a plus.
She is 95 pounds. We have a 2 story house with a chair lift to get her up to the 2nd floor, 1 large dogs and 2 cats. Dog and cate hair is a condiment here.
We do not have a hoyer lift system.
This is not a private pay, we go through Tempus Unlimited. We look forward to hearing from qualified candidates.
