Berry's on Main is looking for an energetic, dependable Busser/Food Expediter to help keep our restaurant running smoothly during our busiest shifts. This is a fast-paced position that requires someone who enjoys staying busy, works well under pressure, and takes pride in providing exceptional guest service.

As a Busser/Expediter, you are an essential part of the guest experience. Your attention to detail, speed, and teamwork help ensure every meal leaves the kitchen correctly and every table is clean and ready for the next guest.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food quickly and accurately from the kitchen to guests.
• Verify that every plate is complete, properly garnished, and matches the order before it leaves the kitchen.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Bus, clean, and reset tables quickly and thoroughly.
• Refill beverages and assist guests when appropriate.
• Keep the dining room, server stations, and beverage stations clean, stocked, and organized.
• Restock supplies throughout the shift.
• Assist with opening, side work, and closing duties.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Jump in wherever needed to support the team during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right person.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to move quickly and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must take pride in keeping a clean and organized work area.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to recognize what needs to be done without being asked.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, carry trays, and work efficiently throughout the shift.
• Must be able to move quickly in a busy restaurant environment.
