Responsibilities
- Ensure personal safety and the safety of fellow employees.
- Ensure proper set up of printers and case packers.
- Ensure proper production rates with minimal scrap.
- Supply and stir ink as necessary.
- Monitor and ensure print quality.
- Wash blankets and plates as necessary.
- Ensure all color heads not in use are cleaned and ready for the next production run.
- Maintain your section in a clean orderly fashion.
- Ensure printing plates are cleaned after each use and returned to proper location.
- Monitor the production schedule for special instructions.
- Perform plate changes, size changes.
- Required to fill out daily checklist, trend board, first piece inspection and webeff paperwork.
- Complete assigned tasks as required by management.
Qualifications
- QUALIFICATIONS, including but not limited to:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and direct employees.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 11 hours during a 12 hour shift.
- Ability to work in a dusty environment.
