Responsibilities:
Perform all tasks in a safe manner
- Understand and fully utilize all test procedures.
- Operate all diagnostic equipment needed to perform job
- Perform all in-process and finished product testing as required by specification or as assigned by management.
- Coordinate with QA Lead, Shift Supervisor, Line Leader, Production Technician, Process Engineer, and other Operations team members to resolve issues or discrepancies.
- Actively participate in safety, product, and compliance audits
- Enter correct data into Quality Windows, perform analysis of data, and report trends that indicate process issues.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the QA and Operations teams.
- Communicate effectively with internal customers as well as co-workers to solve problems and enhance capabilities of the team
- Train others as needed
- Ability to work OT as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma Required
- At least 2 years manufacturing experience
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Pay attention to detail
- Excellent Attendance
- Data Entry
- Train on testing tools and equipment
- Must be willing to rotate shifts if needed, in order to cover for other associates on vacation, sick leave, etc
- This is a 12 hour day shift position
- Based on business needs, Magnera in Benson is a 24/7/365 facility
