Responsibilities
- Performing checks on line of printed items (UPC Scans, Visual Inspection, Tape Testing, IPA Testing, Sutherland Rub, and all others tests required by customers)
- Enter NCMR’s and contain and place suspect product on hold
- Challenge Metal Detectors
- Challenge Skid Scanners
- Train new inspectors on procedures regarding new products or test methods
- Maintain, document, and perform special testing on products specified by customer
- Help pull micro samples monthly
- Help to prepare AW for Audits (IMS, Customer, ISO and SQF)
- Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and Department of Health requirements.
- High school diploma (preferred) or GED equivalent
- Prior experience as a Printing Operator (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- Computer skills (Proficient in Excel, Power Point, and Word or the ability to Learn)
- Ability to travel as necessary
- Ability to lift 30lbs
- Ability to communicate with customers and auditors in a professional manner
- Knowledge of C-Pro, ISO, SQF, IMS and HACCP
- Put product on hold in JDE
- Contain defective product
