Qualifications
- Must know how to read and use a tape measure and weigh scale
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Must have manual dexterity
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
PURPOSE:
To remove finished product from the machines, inspect product to ensure quality specifications have been met and that all packaging requirements have been done according to production work order.
- Read work order for product specifications and any special instructions concerning packaging, special skids, cartons, cradles, banding requirements, and samples
- Inspects products for customer requirements and any defects
- Assists in start-up and changeover of machinery or orders
- Performs all required quality checks on all orders on a regular basis
- Adheres to all packaging requirements per Production Work Order
- Capable of entering production in JDE and printing all necessary paperwork, to include closing out last skid of order.
- Completes at least one Work Place Observation per month.
- Place customer labels on end of cartons or gaylords in a straight and neat manner. Adhere to any and all identification sheets, tally sheets, bar codes as requested by the customer
- Follow AIB Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’S) per written procedures and practices
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety by maintaining a clean and orderly work area
- Maintain paperwork in order and not inter-mixed with orders that are completed or about to run.
