Responsibilities
- Encourage, coach and discipline employees in a positive manner.
- Maintain a professional, positive and motivated workforce.
- Oversee the duties of all Laminate Forming employees with the goal of safety and efficiency.
- Ensure timely and accurate changeovers and set-ups.
- Monitor quality of laminate production.
- Check for accuracy and approve payroll (Kronos) for your shift.
- Communicate with support departments any issues to maintain safe, quality and efficient production.
- Continually work to develop the skills of fellow Laminate Forming employees and communicate with technical trainer and group leader.
- Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and department of health requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and direct employees.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders/steps.
- Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 7 hours during an 8 hour shift.
- Visual acuity of at least 20/50 for distance and a minimum near vision ability to read 10-12 point font at 12-18 inches.
