What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expo position at Berry Fresh Cafe?
Our Expos are responsible for creating that unforgettable guest experience through the proper finishing and garnishing of the best tasting recipes around! You are responsible for top notch cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times. You will be a member of a cohesive team that supports each other’s success in a fast-paced environment.
What you will do:
- Understand our Guest-Obsessed culture and do whatever it takes to create a positive and memorable guest experience.
- Apply all finishing touched to plates and set up by table for servers and runners.
- Use proper portioning techniques.
- Read tickets to determine all modifications have been followed. You are the last line of defense before the plate hits the table.
- Clean station floors, counters, tools, cutting boards, and preparation surfaces to ensure station is clean and sanitized at all times.

REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to understand and follow direction from others.
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced work environment.
- Skill and coordination with kitchen utensils and equipment.
- We clean and sanitize our stations throughout and at the end of the day.
- Ability to read specs and memorize and replicate food production procedures.

- Ability to read and understand a ticket and/or Kitchen display screen
