QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred, College Coursework, 12 hours of accounting.
- Possess basic accounting skills, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a business office environment, school district experience preferred.
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, work independently, and be a customer service-oriented self-starter.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft office with significant knowledge and experience in excel, efficiency utilizing Google docs preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work different schedules or shifts to accomplish tasks.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Probationary/Term Contract: 244 days
SALARY:
$51,550 BA-2
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Process purchase order requisitions and warehouse requisitions according to district policies and guidelines, maintain expenditure and revenue spreadsheets, and reconcile regularly.
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager in the budget preparation for facility operations, special events, audio visual, and food service departments (Berry Center and Pridgeon Stadium), and process budget amendments.
- Process the Concessions cash collections and deposits.
- Administer the change funds, place orders for change, deposit change, and reconcile the change fund balances.
- Manage Payroll for fulltime and part time employees and calculate weighted payroll for Food Service employees.
- Process capital outlay purchases, travel, and transfer of funds forms.
- Track asset tag records and the fixed asset report for capital equipment inventories.
- Manage box office sales for special events including sellers.
- Oversee petty cash funds for facility and food and beverage departments.
- Liaison to insurance department to process workman’s compensation/FMLA reports.
- Support the facility with regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or Finance Manager.
