Job Description

Are you a finance attorney looking for an opportunity to work on complex, high-profile transactions? Bernstein Shur is seeking a mid-level associate (3-5 years’ experience) to join its Business Law Practice Group, focusing on capital markets transactions, including securitization, structured finance, and secured transactions. Our business law team represents a diverse range of market participants—including issuers, borrowers, banks, and other market participants —in supporting innovative asset finance and securitization transactions. 
 
This position is open to remote work in the United States. The successful applicant must possess corporate and/or finance transactions experience (background in structured finance and securitization is preferred).

Certifications

• Admission in NY, ME and/or NH 

 
Minimum Experience  

• Minimum 4 years of corporate finance transactions experience: securitization, structured finance, secured      transactions.  
• Direct and applicable law firm experience preferred.  
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to work on complex financing structures.

Key Responsibilities  

• Advise clients on a broad range of asset finance and securitization transactions. 
• Structure, draft, and negotiate transaction documents, including securitization agreements and other      financing instruments. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including bankruptcy, tax, corporate, and regulatory attorneys, to support complex financings. 
• Manage sophisticated client relationships
