Commercial Real Estate Attorney

Bernkopf Goodman LLP is inviting talented and experienced attorneys with 5 to 8 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions (including purchases and sales, real estate financings, leasing, joint ventures, and related corporate matters) to join its Commercial Real Estate team in Boston.

Candidates should be comfortable:

• Managing deals from letter of intent through closing and have strong due diligence experience, including reviewing title commitments and exceptions, surveys, zoning reports, and entity organizational and authority documents, and preparing related diligence summaries, closing checklists, and deliverables
• Experience coordinating and negotiating with clients, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel is important, and exposure to environmental, permitting/development, and other related real estate matters is also a plus

As a real estate attorney with Bernkopf, you will actively participate in a stimulating mix of work, representing owners, developers, and lenders. Ideally, candidates will have a portable book of business, in addition to the ability to immediately assist with a strong existing workload and take ownership of significant transactions.

The expected salary range for this position is $160,000-$200,000 annually, based on what we, reasonably and in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. An individual’s actual compensation will be based on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to the individual’s experience and qualifications.
