This role involves the ability to consult and understand customer needs, providing high-quality haircuts, styling, and grooming services while maintaining a welcoming environment for clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform various barbering services, including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims to meet client specifications.
- Provide hair styling services and offer recommendations based on clients' preferences and hair types.
- Sanitize tools and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Utilize Square software to manage appointments, track client preferences, and process payments efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist with front desk operations as needed, including greeting clients as they walk in and/or bookings.
Skills
- Proficient in barbering techniques with a strong understanding of hair styling trends.
- Familiarity with Square software for appointment management and client tracking.
- Strong upselling skills to promote additional services effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and understand their needs.
- Ability to sanitize tools properly and maintain hygiene standards in the salon environment.
