Job Summary
As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in emergency response and law enforcement operations by receiving and transmitting radio calls, dispatching emergency personnel, and providing assistance to the public.
Qualifications
Candidates must successfully pass a drug test and a background check.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Previous experience in this specific field is not required, but it is preferred. All candidates will participate in training to obtain certification upon being hired.
Schedule
12-hour nightshift 2-2-3 schedule
Must be able to work every other weekend
Employees will be required to work two days on, two days off, three days on, followed by two days off, two days on, and three days off.

Responsibilities
- Receive emergency and non-emergency calls from the public
- Determine the type and level of response needed
- Dispatch appropriate law enforcement, fire, or medical personnel
- Monitor and track the status of field units
- Maintain accurate records of calls and dispatch information
- Use computer-aided dispatch systems to enter and retrieve information
Skills
- Proficient in typing and transcribing information accurately
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Competence in operating various phone systems
- Strong conflict management skills for handling high-stress situations
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
