Job Summary:
The Senior Key Account Manager leads key retail customer relationships and drives profitable growth across Bernick's. This role manages a team of Account Managers, owns executive-level customer partnerships, and collaborates cross-functionally to develop strategic account plans, forecasts, pricing, and category growth initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers to ensure consistent execution of account strategies and customer commitments
- Align Account Managers with Sales Managers, distribution teams, and cross-functional partners to drive results
- Serve as the lead for designated strategic Key Accounts, owning the overall customer relationship, strategy, and financial performance
- Lead solution development efforts by coordinating sales, service, supplier, and executive resources
- Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with director- and executive-level customer stakeholders and supplier partners
- Lead regular customer business reviews to communicate progress against goals, promotion results, financial performance, and forward-looking strategies
- Coordinate the development of monthly and quarterly sales forecasts for retail national account customers
- Track, measure, and communicate execution of initiatives and programs, highlighting successes and proactively addressing gaps
HOURS: Full-time
- Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 8 years of progressive experience in key account management, retail sales, or national account leadership
- 3 years of people leadership experience managing and developing sales or account management teams
- Proven success managing complex retail accounts with significant revenue and margin responsibility
- Strong working knowledge of sales forecasting and demand planning, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, sales analytics and reporting tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver's license with required insurance, adhering to Bernick's driving standards

Base Compensation:
$80k - $100k
