Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing a wide variety of Berners' warehouse activities, including managing people for a specific shift, or on a team basis to achieve company and customer objectives successfully
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
· Responsible for leading or supervising warehouse department and staff.
· Reviews workload and assign tasks to employees.
· Professionally trains, coaches, and evaluates employee performance; recommends or initiates promotions, transfers, or disciplinary actions.
· Ensure optimal utilization of all warehouse resources, including but not limited to, space, equipment, and people.
· Oversees processes to ensure inventory and orders are completed accurately.
· Reviews Material Allocation and Ordering by Team Leads.
· Correctly utilizes a warehouse management system and maintains appropriate work documents.
· Establish, maintain, and promote exceptional customer service.
· Measures work performance; compares results to objectives; takes corrective actions.
· Maintains and prepares various records and reports.
· Correctly interprets and enforces company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
· Provide support and backup to the Senior Warehouse Supervisor.
· Safely operates various equipment and tools.
· Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality are job requirements.
· The ability to get along with others and be non-violence is a job requirement to promote a positive team environment consistently.
· Assist other employees in the performance of their assigned duties when necessary.
Employee Responsibilities:
· Conducts oneself and operates equipment and acts in accordance with all company policies, safety rules, regulations, and laws, including wearing proper personal protective equipment.
· Conducts oneself in a positive professional manner at all times.
· Takes advantage of all opportunities to attend training sessions to upgrade knowledge.
· Continually recommend measures to improve production and quality methods, equipment performance and use, safety, and workplace environment.
· Make suggestions for improving the company.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Four years of experience in warehouse operations, including two years of supervisory experience preferred.
Required Licenses, Certifications and Knowledge:
· Knowledge of warehouse operations.
· Principles and practices of effective customer service.
· May require material handling certification.
· Principles and practices of effective leadership skills.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:

· Work is performed in a warehouse environment.
· Working environments include but are not limited to the warehouse, climate-controlled office, and a variety of work environments and outside travel.
· Work activities include a normal range of motion. May be required to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 70 pounds.
· A full range of body motion is required on the job to include frequent sitting, bending, stooping, crouching, lifting, carrying, grasping, pinching, feeling, walking, standing, climbing, driving, pushing/pulling, handling, balancing, and reaching on all planes.
· Fine motor coordination, fine finger dexterity, manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination are required.
· Seeing (naturally or with correction), listening, hearing, talking, communicating, spatial, form, and depth perception, color discrimination, and field vision are also needed.
· Performs a variety of tasks involving dexterous use of legs, feet, arms, hands, and fingers, and tools and equipment.
· May be exposed to excessive temperatures, noise, dirt/dust, hazardous chemicals, traffic hazards, variable light, vibration, and moving machinery or equipment.
· May be required to wear a protective hard hat, reflective clothing, earwear, eyewear, gloves, footwear, or other required protective attire.
