Warehouse Lead PM (C Shift)

Summary:

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for the timely and accurate implementation of all warehouse functions and related data collection and documentation. The Warehouse Lead provides backup for warehouse supervisor functions and will handle other assignments, as directed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help solve problems and make informed decisions that affect the service, and productivity of the warehouse area.

• Verify the accuracy of outbound and inbound shipments when necessary.

• Maintain a neat, organized warehouse using bin locations.

• Perform cycle counts and maintain an inventory record accuracy of 97%

• Research short/long shipments

• Maintain, inspect, and ensure all warehouse equipment is operational and following all safety requirements.

• Must follow all company policies. Must be knowledgeable of GMPs, SQF, OSHA, and HAACP.

• Assists in training employees on these processes along with the Warehouse Supervisor.

• Pull orders and assist warehouse personnel with the order-pulling process along with following the load schedule for the week.

• Verify the accuracy of outbound shipments.

• Maintain a neat, organized warehouse using bin locations.

• Update and maintain all inbound/outbound shipping records. Ensure, in collaboration with Warehouse Supervisor, pertinent paperwork is up to date.

• Carefully inspect before final loading for shipment.

• Maintain internal records, as needed, and enter warehouse records into ERP system in collaboration with the Warehouse Supervisor.

• Submit warehouse reports, as required, to various departments throughout the organization.

• Keep daily logs on all forklifts, verifying they are accurate and up to date. Submit to the manager immediately following the month-end.

• Complete cross-training to back-up warehouse and other functions, when necessary. • Basic computer skills preferred

Education/and of Experience:

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. SAP experience is helpful.

• Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of associates, managers, customers, and the general public.

Physical Demands /Work Environment:

1. Work is performed in a warehouse environment.

2. Working environments include but are not limited to warehouses, climate-controlled offices, and a variety of work environments, and outside travel.

3. Work activities include a normal range of motion. May be required to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 70 pounds.

4. A full range of body motion is required on the job to include frequent sitting, bending, stooping, crouching, lifting, carrying, grasping, pinching, feeling, walking, standing, climbing, driving, pushing/pulling, handling, balancing, and reaching on all planes.

5. Fine motor coordination, fine finger dexterity, manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination are required.

6. Seeing (naturally or with correction), listening, hearing, talking, communicating, spatial, form, and depth perception, color discrimination, and field vision are also needed.

7. Performs a variety of tasks involving dexterous use of legs, feet, arms, hands, and fingers, and tools and equipment.

8. May be exposed to excessive temperatures, noise, dirt/dust, hazardous chemicals, traffic hazards, variable light, vibration, and moving machinery or equipment.

9. May be required to wear a protective hard hat, reflective clothing, earwear, eyewear, gloves, footwear, or other required protective attire.

Pay Range: $19.00-22.00 - Hourly (based on experience); For the PM shift, there is a $1.00 Shift Differential for this position.
