Position Overview |
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and creative Graphic Designer Assistant to join our team. This role provides hands-on experience in graphic design, branding, and digital media, while also supporting the administration of social media content. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Assist in the creation of digital and print marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, event collateral, and internal communications.
- Design graphics, layouts, and visual assets that align with brand guidelines.
- Support the scheduling and administration of social media posts across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.), ensuring consistency in messaging and visuals.
- Help maintain an organized library of creative assets, templates, and project files.
- Collaborate with the marketing and business development teams to brainstorm and execute creative campaigns.
- Conduct basic research on design trends, social media best practices, and competitor activity to inform content strategy.
- Provide general support on administrative tasks related to marketing and communications as needed.
Qualifications
- Working toward a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency with design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
