Duties
- Prepare fresh salads, deli meats, cheeses, and other food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Manage food service customer orders with professionalism, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols
- Assist customers with product selection, upselling items to enhance their experience and increase sales
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, refrigerators, and other food prep tools
- Process cash transactions accurately while handling cash register operations and grocery store sales transactions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail sales is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell and engage positively with guests
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Previous quick service or fast food restaurant experience is desirable but not required
- Retail or grocery store experience will be considered an asset
