Registered Nurse - School Nurse Districtwide
Summary/Qualifications/Responsibilities:
- This applicant needs be licensed or have the ability to be licensed as an RN in New Mexico.
- Maintain a school health office environment to be prepared to serve students with any medical concerns.
- Maintain accurate and confidential and appropriate records following the guidelines established by the District.
- Work with health related activities in coordination with the Lead Nurse, Special Education Director and the site Principal.
Requirements/Required Skills/Experience:
- Be able to use medical terminology appropriately and demonstrate understanding of common childhood growth and development principals.
- Experience in working in a health care environment is preferred.
- Provide care for illness or injuries for students occurring at assigned sites, in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Required to have a School Nurses license with NMPED (RN/LPN OR BSN LICENSE)
- Required to pass a background check
Salaries below are for an RN. LPN salary available upon request.
