Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Family Law Paralegal located at the firm’s office in Maitland, FL. The Family Law Paralegal will assist attorneys by preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, reviewing case materials, and maintaining case files. The role involves gathering and organizing documentation, preparing for hearings or trials, and effectively communicating with clients and other related parties. Additional responsibilities include ensuring deadlines are met and providing overall administrative support to the legal team.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Law and expertise in Legal Document Preparation
- Proficiency in Research and Document Review
- Excellent Communication skills for interaction with clients, attorneys, and court officials
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced legal environment
- Familiarity with family law procedures and requirements is highly preferred
- Paralegal certification or an equivalent qualification is preferred
- Proficiency with legal software and tools is a plus
- A strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Fluent in Spanish
