Bernadette's House is seeking a passionate and motivated Volunteer Director of Fundraising to help expand our impact and support programs that empower girls ages 8-17 through mentoring, leadership development, career readiness, life skills, and community engagement.
This leadership volunteer role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing creative fundraising strategies, engaging sponsors, and helping a growing nonprofit organization achieve its mission.
Most planning activities are conducted remotely, while fundraising events and select community activities require occasional in-person participation.

Position Summary
The Director of Fundraising will work closely with the President, CEO, Board of Directors, and fundraising committee to develop and implement fundraising strategies that support organizational growth and sustainability.
The successful candidate will play a key role in helping Bernadette's House expand programs, increase community partnerships, and secure resources that directly benefit the girls and families we serve.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute fundraising strategies and campaigns
• Lead and support fundraising events throughout the year
• Identify and cultivate sponsorship opportunities with local businesses and community partners
• Assist with donor stewardship and relationship building
• Research grant opportunities and potential funding sources
• Recruit, support, and collaborate with fundraising volunteers and committee members
• Work closely with board leadership to establish and achieve fundraising goals
• Monitor fundraising progress and provide updates to leadership
• Create innovative fundraising initiatives and donor engagement opportunities
• Represent Bernadette's House professionally within the community
