Automotive Express Technician

Job Description

Location: Berman Subaru of Chicago

Job Title: Express Technician

Schedule: Full time; 40 hours/week; Monday-Saturday; 2 days off

Pay: $17.00/HR

Responsibilities:

• Perform all lubrication services
• Perform thorough check of customer's car (i.e. battery, lights, tires), referring all needed repairs and preventative maintenance to Service Advisor
• Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment
• Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles
• Check air pressure of tires
• Replace oil and air filters
• Change batteries, bulbs, tire rotations
• Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs that may be needed
• Ensure customer cars are kept clean

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as an auto technician, minimum
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Knowledge in aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Fast learner
• Team Player
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (3 year minimum)
