Position Overview
You will independently manage a full patient schedule, providing comprehensive dermatologic care while also performing aesthetic treatments. This is a great opportunity for an experienced PA who wants long-term stability, consistent patient volume, and the ability to expand their cosmetic practice.
Key Responsibilities
Medical Dermatology
- Independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat general dermatologic conditions
- Perform full-body skin exams and manage follow-up care
- Diagnose and treat skin cancers and pre-cancerous lesions
- Perform biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and ED&C
- Manage chronic skin conditions (acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea)
Aesthetics & Cosmetic Dermatology
- Perform cosmetic injectable treatments (Botox, Dysport, dermal fillers)
- Provide laser and energy-based treatments (training available as needed)
- Recommend and perform cosmetic procedures aligned with patient goals
- Educate patients on skincare, aesthetic treatment plans, and maintenance
- Promote ethical, patient-centered cosmetic care
General Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Collaborate with dermatologists and clinical staff
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience
Qualifications
- Active Florida Physician Assistant license (or ability to obtain)
- 2 years of dermatology experience required
- Experience in aesthetic injectables strongly preferred
- Confidence managing both medical and cosmetic patient schedules
- Strong procedural and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication, professionalism, and bedside manner
