The Berlin Police Department has an immediate opening for a full-time Patrol Officer. Applicants who successfully pass a basic skills written exam and fitness assessment will be invited to participate in an Oral Board Interview. Requirements

Must possess at least a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must pass a written exam, physical fitness test, oral board, background check, polygraph examination, psychological examination, physical examination, and drug test.

Once hired, the officer must successfully complete the 18-week police academy through the New Hampshire Police Training Council (NHPSTC). The officer must also successfully complete the departments 14-week Field Training Program.
