If so, we are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst, who will play a critical role in refining and developing our financial processes. In addition to being an excellent analyst, we are seeking a candidate with strong business acumen, who will be required to think beyond the immediate scope of the job and understand the larger picture of the Company. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing month and year-to-date financial performance compared to budgeted and prior year activity, including comprehensive variance analysis and explanations
  • Participating in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Generating business insights on trends and issues that may impact current, budgeted and forecasted performance (e.g., revenue and gross margin)
  • Performing price/volume analysis across customer and product categories. Assessing customer’s performance
  • Evaluating investment opportunities (e.g., capital expenses)
  • Partnering cross-functionally and within Finance and to help others identify potential ways to improve profitability (cost savings)
  • Preparing and reviewing reports with internal stakeholder (executive and field   

     leadership)

  • Fulfill employee portion of the Berlin Values by demonstrating a strong work ethic,  

    teamwork, loyalty, innovation, productivity, and driving profitable results.   

 

Qualified Professionals Will Possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
  • At least four years of relevant finance and business experience.
  • Ability and desire to interface with all functional areas of the company.
  • Strong, working knowledge of financial statements.
  • Advanced Excel skills, demonstrated by proven ability to manipulate large amounts of data and create and manage pivot tables and complex formulas.
  • Microsoft Access and SQL skills are preferred.
  • A high level of motivation, drive, self-management, and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic and can-do work style.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills.
