Housekeeper – Full-Time and Part-Time

Location: Berlin Health & Rehabilitation Center – Barre, VT

We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our dedicated team at Berlin Health & Rehabilitation Center! As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, dry mop, and wet mop resident rooms
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, furniture, and equipment
• Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste
• Clean staff dining areas, stairwells, hallways, and other assigned spaces
• Vacuum carpets and floor surfaces
• Restock housekeeping supplies as needed
• Perform occasional light maintenance duties
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to follow departmental safety policies and procedures
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards
