Paratransit Bus Operators transport paratransit service clients in a
scheduled order to/from local or distant destinations within Berkshire
County. They act as \"front-line\" customer service representatives of
The Company. They Use Good Judgment, Interpersonal Communication Skills,
and workplace knowledge to assist customers with information, assure
passenger safety, and operate their vehicle according to all traffic
laws and Company policy. This position is subject to drug and alcohol
testing, including random testing, under Federal Transportation
Administration (FTA) drug and alcohol regulations. **Essential
Functions** - Provide transportation in accordance with Massachusetts
law, ADA policy, Company policy, and the principles of safe vehicle
operation. - Act as \"front-line\" customer service representatives of
the Company. - Work efficiently and constructively in a professional
manner with other employees. - Demonstrate high-quality transportation
care. - Complete accurate, legible, and factual written reports. -
Adhere to all company safety practices and other policy related to
employment. **Non-Essential Functions** - Attend regular trainings as
scheduled by the department supervisor and with the requirements of 5310
MAP driver qualification standards. - Complete other duties as assigned

Class D driver\'s license. - Have reliable transportation both to and
from work. - Have knowledge of, and adhere to, all traffic rules and
regulations. - Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. - Pass a

Demonstrate an ability to work effectively with minimal supervision,

the physical skills applicable to the safe and efficient operation of a

knowledge of basic math, map reading, and time telling. - Demonstrate
effective verbal communication when interacting with passengers and
