Key Responsibilities
- Safety First: Maintain constant surveillance of the pool area and water to ensure the safety of all patrons.
- Rule Enforcement: Fairly and consistently enforce all pool rules and safety regulations.
- Emergency Response: Act quickly and calmly in emergency situations, providing water rescues, First Aid, or CPR/AED as needed.
- Facility Care: Assist with light pool maintenance, including testing water chemistry and keeping the pool deck clear of hazards.
- Environment Adaptation: Transition between indoor shifts (climate-controlled) and outdoor shifts (weather-dependent), maintaining professional standards in both.
Shift Details
- Some shifts are available immediately.
- Seeking employees through August 2026, with some opportunity for long-term employment.
- Shifts range from 6:15 a.m.-8:00 p.m. daily including holidays.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Certification: Current Lifeguarding certification (Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent).
- Safety Training: Current CPR/AED and First Aid for the Professional Rescuer.
- Age: Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Skills: Strong swimming skills and the ability to pass a pre-employment water skills test.
- Reliability: Punctual and professional with a "safety-first" mindset.
