Overnight Custodian
Part-Time | 3–4 hours per night, Monday–Friday | Flexible schedule between 8 PM and 6 AM
Berkshire South Regional Community Center is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Overnight Custodian to help keep our facility clean, safe, and welcoming for all. This position focuses primarily on cleaning locker rooms, bathrooms, showers, and other high-use areas during non-operating hours.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, and showers
- Scrub and disinfect shower areas and bathroom fixtures
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash as needed
- Restock supplies and ensure cleanliness standards are maintained
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to management
Schedule:
- 3–4 hours per night, Monday through Friday.
- Work hours are flexible and will be set by mutual agreement between 8 PM and 6 AM.
Qualifications:
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs. and perform physical cleaning tasks like the ability to push, pull, bend, stretch overhead and operate simple machinery on a regular basis.
This is a part-time position with some benefits including membership to the Community Center. Additional hours to support department needs may be available to the appropriate candidate.
