What are the responsibilities and job description for the Courier II position at Berkshire Health Systems and Careers?
- DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION
- Delivery and pick-up at all designated locations and times. Items to be transported include, but are not limited to: mail, supplies (medical and non-medical) pharmaceuticals, laundry, equipment, lab specimens, payroll sheets, and other miscellaneous items as assigned or required.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
- Experience:
- A minimum of three months as a courier/mail handler preferred.
- Education and Training:
- High School / GED is required.
- License, Certification & Registration:
- DRIVER - Driver's License
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively. Ability to use communication devices such as telephones, pagers, etc.
- Ability to work independently, and in a team setting. Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to perform repetitive duties.
- Willingness to complete assignments with a high level of quality, and consideration of patients, staff, and physicians.
- Ability to receive criticism professionally. Willingness to address customer needs.
Location: Berkshire Health Systems · BMS Mailroom
Schedule: Per Diem/Relief, Shift 1, 6:30am - 3:00pm, 7:00am - 3:30pm, 8:30am - 5:00pm
